  • 20 Twenty Match - Barnet B's CC Vs Barnet Football Club

    Event

    There will be a 20 Twenty cricket match on the 13th July 2008, this match will be between the Barnet B's Cricket Club and Barnet Football Club. 

    The intention is that the day will be a community day with stalls, bouncy castle, tombolla and food.  There may also be a cricketing celebrity attending too (Subject to availability). 

    There will be a bowling machine in one of the nets and a "beat the bowling machine" competition will be held.  In the other net we will have visitors bowling and trying to get one of the batsman out. 

    This event will run from about Noon to 6-00 PM and the entry is free.

    The Team

    In Barnet B's team there will be a mixture of players from all teams and that this could include a couple of colts and a couple of ladies.  Someone in one of the teams will have to take charge of getting a side together and act as Match Manager. Volunteers please contact Trevor.

    This is a BSDL event with the profits going to the clubs in BSDL.

  • Club Day

    The club day is on Sunday 27 April 2008 . Starts 10am and is based around a 20-20 tournament.
    Cricket season is starting in the next couple of weeks. I believe our first game is Sat 3rd May and league starts 11 May.
    Please could you all complete the attached form and have your membership fee ready to pay at the club day. This season, there is a strict policy that anyone not paid will not be eligible for selection - No Exceptions.
    The forms need to be returned and signed by a committee member in line with the new club rules.
    Also, please let em know if you can come next Sunday as I need to arrange a team to take part in the 20-20.
    It will allow many of you to meet old friends  but also some of the new guys who have joined.
    Please let me know at the latest by Thursday 24th so that I can pass details onto Selly and co.
    The club day starts at 10am, so please ensure you are there by that time if you would like to take part in the matches. Please remember the forms and club fees. No pay no Play.
